Monte Penna (GE) - Liguria Regional Championship Middle

was held yesterday on the slopes of Monte Penna, near Genoa, the Ligurian Middle Championship.
The race was characterized by a low turnout of athletes, in part because of bad weather conditions recorded in the morning: 6 ° C, low clouds and rain for the whole competition ... The plant
map was very interesting: a nearly white paper (remember that the white color in the maps of orienteering identifies the forest), characterized by beech and pine forests very clean, and complete absence of green (which instead identifies the low vegetation with brambles and shrubs, with limited or poor practicability) ...
Especially in the lower part of the paper, then, we find a significant presence of boulders eterometrici (not far from what hikers call "The Ship" pen of the mountain) and the entire system we find a very high presence of charcoal, which often help competitors In the absence of guidance or some such paths boulders. So
ground very interesting and full of charm that will surely hold a national competition in the future, hopefully in weather conditions other than those of yesterday morning! Even
paths were very technical and, together with the ground made heavy by rain, they put a strain on the competitors as evidenced by the high times of the race.
Interflumina participates with a small number of athletes, to be exact ... 6 Andrea
Melioli and Alain Ben Rejeb, compete in the M16 category and conclude on the 1st and 2nd place while in the same category, Andrea Zappone is PM (point missing) and then is out of the standings. Another
PM Alice Talignani who competes instead in W12, while in Corrado Arduini M35 routs opponents and should occupy the top step of the podium. Another podium with Marco Bellini, who collects the 2nd place finish in the MB category.

remember that Conrad Arduini, who is the coach of our team as well as of Italian youth, was already in place, with the youth of the National, as did a training camp for a period of 4 days, near the beautiful Lake Giacopiane and Reserve Agoraie.
A field that originally had been designed to prepare young people for the warm EYOC Youth European Championship to be held from June 29 to 04 July in Spain ... Good luck to him and his boys!
